On October 26th, we have collaborated with National Congress of Chinese Canadian (NCCC) during their AGM in Halifax, by designing a Forum Event: Building Bridges Chinese Business & Growth Forum. Welcomed over 120 audiences, locally and nationally!
We had Honorable Philip Lee, the Chair of NCCC & the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba as the Keynote Speaker; paul mackinnon from Downtown Halifax Business Commission; Joshua Adams from Halifax Regional Municipality; and Jason Guidry, BREP from Halifax Partnership as Session Presenters.
We had for Mr. Zhao Yong, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in China; The Honourable Yuen Pau Woo, Senator from British Columbia; The Honourable Steve Craig, on behalf of Premier Tim Houston; Honourable Brian Wong, Paul Russell, Councillor of Lower Sackville (District 15), Dr. Robert Summerby-Murray, President of Saint Mary's University, and Eric Yeung, the Chair of NCCC Atlantic, The Honourable Chair Richard Wong all delivered remarks and shared their stories with our local audiences and NCCC National Delegates.
Each speaker brought a unique perspective and depth of knowledge that truly resonated with our local Chinese Canadian community and our guests from across Canada. This event couldn’t have come at a better time for the growth and expansion of Halifax’s Chinese Canadian community. Your presentations sparked important conversations and opened doors for future collaborations.
